7 Day a Week Club is Coming

Club Menangle’s new seven day a week Club is one big step closer to reality.

The Club Board this week appointed Boden Projects to undertake the $10M refurbishment of the licensed premises previously known as the Horse and Jockey Inn. Bodens are recognised as Club Construction specialists. The Club has already engaged leading Club and Hospitality Architects, Altis, to design the complex, and Engine Room Venture Management as the project managers.

Club Chief Executive, Bruce Christison, said that after so much planning it is exciting to see work on the site about to commence. With the development of the Menangle Park village getting closer by the day the area is very fortunate to have a development of this magnitude due for completion before the first houses are built. The infrastructure normally follows the

development however in this case we will have an established business ready for the new residents to call their “local”.

This is such an exciting development, however this is only stage one in the Boards master plan for the Club owned land. The second stage will involve the integration of the heritage listed Menangle House into the development,' and with other future additions including hotel accommodation the Club is on-track to deliver its vision of establishing the site as an entertainment precinct.

The new venue will include all the features of a modern registered club but will maintain the natural beauty of the area with the amazing backdrop of the surrounding hills and the historic gardens on the site.

With a variety of dining options, lounge areas, indoor and outdoor childrens play areas, segregated sports bar, an outdoor garden terrace and a new 200 seat function room, there really is something for everyone.

The new function room will be surrounded by amazing landscaping and whilst designed to accommodate the perfect wedding reception, the inclusion of every imaginable feature will ensure the room is ideal for every event. This includes an operable wall,

which can separate the room into two function areas, make a more intimate function space or even be used for a breakout room for conferences and seminars.

For weddings there is a designated access for the bridal party, which will see the vehicles drive in and drop off with the heritage listed Menangle House in the back ground. There is a bridal retreat for the bridal party to freshen up and the function room itself is surrounded by a balcony overlooking the picturesque gardens, which are perfect for the wedding ceremony or for pre-dinner drinks.
